Yifat Gat.

Born in Israel 1969. Lives in France.

After her military service (1988-90) Yifat Gat studied Theatre stage design at the
Tel Aviv Academy (1991-1993). Working later on several Film, Theater and Dance Independent projects ,For which she won the America- Israel Foundation award.

in 1994-96 Yifat studied her fine Art studies at the 'Midrasha' fine Art university, continuing at the ‘Museum Tel Aviv’ Artist complementary studies 1997. Gat began working as an independent Artist, creating her first solo Exhibition in 2000, focusing on digital media and video Art.

In 2004 Yifat won the SACD award for her creation 'Five' a video dance at the 'Monaco Dance Forum'.
In 2005 Gat created 'winter Voyage' a video dance based on the duet of Emanuel Gat, the film was premiered at the Tel Aviv Vdance festival and later was preformed among others at the prestigious Dance screen, The Netherlands.

in 2006 yifat participated at the Museum Petach tikva Exhibition with her project
'3,000 A year' who later was displayed in Sweden, in the 'Museum for world culture' for two years 2006-2008.

Since 2007 yifat focuses on handmade drawings as her main expression tool, working with ink on paper.
